DAY 81: TAMPA, FL TO MIAMI, FL

The eighty-first day of touring with the ID. 4 began in Tampa, FL. The lights of the downtown Tampa skyscrapers glowed in the dark sky. We made our way to the coast and passed the Saint Joseph Sound. In St. Petersburg, near Tampa Bay, the waters were filled with kiteboarders. The extreme sport is where the rider is attached to a board similar to a wakeboard, and is pulled by a kite that is attached to a harness. The kiteboarders shredded the Tampa Bay waters and some of the more experienced riders were even doing advanced tricks such as flips and spins. From the beach we could see the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The bridge is over 4 miles long spanning the Lower Tampa Bay connecting St. Petersburg, Florida to Terra Ceia. We took the four lane bridge south on interstate 275 and then landed in Bradenton, FL. We visited Bob Boast VW and we appreciate them for their awesome service. In Sarasota, FL, the Sarasota Bay had many boaters out by the water. On the marina we saw a large power boat that had a sun orange colorway. We left the marina and as we kept along the coast, there was a fluffy dog hanging out the window enjoying the nice ocean breeze. The sun began to set and the sky radiated stupendous golden rays for the finale of our day in Miami.
